The  overall purpose of SOCES  PTA is to provide a powerful voice for our children, offer resources for the families in our community and serve as a strong advocate for the education and well being of every child in our district.

ABOUT SOCES PTA

The South Orangetown Community Elementary Schools (SOCES) PTA provides programs that enhance the educational experience of children within the South Orangetown Central School District (SOCSD).  SOCES PTA supports four schools:

The Early Childhood Program (ECP):  Located in the WOS building, ECP offers a full complement of programs for up to eighty pre-school and pre-K children. This county funded program is open to resident and non-resident students.

William O. Schaefer Elementary (WOS): Located in Tappan, this is where our Kindergarteners and 1st graders begin their learning journey.

Tappan Zee Elementary (TZE): Our 2nd and 3rd graders attend this school on Route 9W in Piermont.

Cottage Lane Elementary (CLE) This school, on Cottage Lane in Blauvelt, is where 4th and 5th graders complete their elementary education.
